Because of the fuel crisis.

Food manufacturers have begun warning retail chains in St. Petersburg that they will be unable to deliver goods on time due to a fuel shortage caused by Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries.

This was reported by The Moscow Times.

Suppliers from other regions are also sending out such notifications, particularly from the Volga region and the Southern Federal District.

“Due to force majeure, shipments carrying our products may be delayed en route. We ask that you refrain from filing claims regarding missed delivery deadlines,” reads a letter from a manufacturer in the Ulyanovsk Region.

“But so far, the situation is not critical, and all orders are being delivered. Although it does happen that deliveries arrive slightly later than scheduled,” he said.
