Partisans from “Atesh” claimed to have obtained internal documents from the Russian Federation’s 127th Motorized Rifle Division, whose units are operating in the Yuzhnodonetsk and Zaporizhzhia sectors. According to the group, the documents list thousands of dead and missing, more than 9,000 wounded, as well as numerous cases of desertion and suicide among military personnel.

Representatives of “Cyber-Atesh” claim that they conducted their own analysis of the materials received and compared them with data from open sources and studies by experts who examined the division’s unit losses.

According to the analysis, there are significant discrepancies between the figures in the internal reports and the scale of losses that can be reconstructed from the available data. “Cyber-Atesh” believes that this raises questions about what information the division’s command is passing on to higher-level leadership and to what extent it reflects the actual situation.

The group also reports cases of suicide among Russian servicemen. According to the group, the materials it has received contain not only general figures but also details about specific incidents and service members who were unable to cope with the consequences of participating in the war.
