Promoting the master, who robed people (Photo)

Rather strange billboards with a slogan “For master “appeared in Minsk. Taking into consideration the recent events in the country, ruble falling and fantastic increase in prices, these billboards aroused indignation among Minsk dwellers.

Journalists of the Charter’97 press center took photo of this billboard at the intersection of Lenin and Smalenskaya Streets. The billboard text reads: “For a cosy flat, clean house, personal account without debt. For the master who has done this!”

People have lost huge money due to sharp devaluation of the Belarusian ruble after Christmas holidays, prices in shops and markets have grown and continue to increase. Housing and utilities rates have increased since January 1. Amid these events, the slogan “For the master who has done this” is mocking. It is well-known who has created the conditions, under which personal accounts are impossible without debts, and who had stolen a billon of dollars from the population in a night.
