Kyrgyzstan is not intended to ask Belarusian authorities about extradition of the former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev.

Vice Premier of Kirghiz government Azimbek Beknazarov told to “Interfax” on Tuesday

“We are not going to make another request for the extradition from Belarus”, - he said.

Beknazarov explained, that a criminal case on a charge of the former president of abuse of authority and mass killings on April, 7 at the central square of Bishkek will be handed over into court in the nearest future.

“We will try him in absentia, the legislation allows it”, - Beknazarov marked.

It is planned, that court trials over the accused of the events of April,7 in Bishkek will start in October of the next year, at the moment, the criminal cases are handed over to the accused, staying in the Republic of Belarus, for the insight.

According to Beknazarov’s words, in total the charges were brought against 29 former state officials, including the younger brother of ex-president Zhanibek Bakiyev, elder son of Bakiyev Marat, Head of Intelligence Service and the Heads of secretariat subdivisions of Ex-President of Kyrgyzstan.

“All who are in Kyrgyzstan, will appear before the court, those who left the Republic will be tried in absentia”, - Beknazarov underlined.
