Famous Larry King wants to come to Belarus to work

A US TV host Larry King wants to visit Belarus to interview a number of Belarusian public leaders.

“If I am allowed, certainly,” he said in an interview to Echo of Moscow radio station on Thursday, adding that it is interesting, as there is a great number of problems in Belarus.

Larry King told his mother was born in Minsk.

He also said he was in Russia for the first time, and wants to return in May again.

L. King gained worldwide fame thanks to TV program Larry King Live on CNN. He had been its host for 25 years. The show of Larry King was added to the Guinness Book of Records for the longest-running show with the same host in the same time slot.

In summer 2010 77-year-old L. King stated he wanted to leave his show at CNN, in order to get a possibility to be engaged in less demanding projects, and to spend more time with family.

Among the guests of the TV show of Larry King there were US presidents, famous actors, writers, politicians and sportsmen. Vladimir Putin was interviewed by L. King several times.
