Notes of executed Kavalyou disappeared at KGB

For a few month Lyubou Kavalyova have been fruitlessly trying to make KGB remand prison return notes of her son to her.

After the execution Kavalyova received a parcel with personal things of her son from the KGB remand prison. However the yellow file which Uladzislau took to the sessions of the court was empty. “He took this file to the court, there were notes made by him during the court and after, when he and his lawyer got acquainted with the court case for writing a cassation appeal. Vlad (Uladzislau) insistently asked this notes to be kept,” Lyubou Kavalyova said two months ago.

She supposes that some violations of incarceration conditions in the remand prison could be mentioned in the notes, so they had been seized. “But I had not received any documents, for instance, that the notes of my son had been destroyed due process of law,” the mother of the executed said.

Neither in the remand prison of the KGB, not in the KGB there are no notes of Uladzislau Kavalyou, executed in March this year for terrorism.  BelaPAN was told about that by the centre of information and PR of the KGB Alyaksandr Antanovich.

Alyaksandr Antanovich has also stated that the KGB does not have letter of authorization which had been written by Uladzislau together with the lawyer, as Kavalyova said, so that the mother could act on behalf of her son.

Such letters of authorization, as it had been informed earlier, had been made twice. None of them were received by Kavalyova.
