Handicapped workers escape from Svetotekhnika plant

Workers of the Svetotekhnika enterprise in Homiel, which participates in the society of the visually handicapped, in mass numbers refused to prolong their contracts.

“At a Homiel enterprise Svetotekhnika, which participates in the public association “Belarusian Association of Visually Hadicapped”, the workers of the engineering and provision division and the instrumental workshop have in mass numbers written applications refusing to extent contracts because their material well-being has worsened”, - the reader wrote.

He added that the workers of the other enterprise’s workshops are going to follow the example and refuse from prolonging their contracts.

“Due to the situation at the enterprise one should expect mass quitting of workers”, - the reader summarized.

We would note that at least 51% of the Svetotekhnika’s workers are visually handicapped.

We would remind that workers of Horizont, Tsvetotron and other Belarusian enterprises have reported about mass quitting in the recent months.
