"More Than 100 Police Officers For Every 10 people"

Police detachments guarded the houses and apartments of a dozen activists the day before the rally on June 22.

Yulia Stsiapanava, a human rights activist and European Belarus civil campaign activist, has counted up how many efforts the special services had made to disrupt yesterday's picket, the BNC website writes.

– 20 people were present at today's event. Some activists simply did not manage to get to Kastrychnitskaya – they had been "guarded" by police officers since yesterday's evening. There were 4 people in each car, with a changeover and all that, by the way, and there were two or three cars at a time (it depends on the activist’s level, I suppose) For every 10 people – more than 100 police officers, in two shifts. It's five! And who will catch the criminals, shy to ask?

We remind that on June 22, a picket of solidarity with political prisoners was held in the center of Minsk.
