Dictation About BPR At Warsaw University

Not only Belarusians, but also Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs and Russians were among the participants in the dictation.

The day of the native language was marked in Warsaw by a dictation about the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian People's Republic. The event was organized by the Department of Belarusian Studies at the University of Warsaw, Radio Racyja reports.

The text was read by educational institution employee Volha Tretsjak:

– This year we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the BPR. The Department of Belarusian Studies organized a Belarusian dictation on the occasion of International Native Language Day for the first time. We hope that there will be a continuation.

About thirty people took part in the dictation. It is noteworthy that among those present there were not only Belarusians, but also Poles, Ukrainians, guests from the Czech Republic and Russia.
