Journalist Volha Chaichyts Detained

The journalist was prevented from going to celebrate the Freedom Day.
This morning, journalist Volha Chaichyts was detained on the way to Minsk.
"We cannot leave the village where we live. They detained us near the house.
Happy holiday! ", - Volha Chaichyts posted on Facebook.
Important to note, the Lukashenka regime held preventive arrests of the participants of the celebration of the BPR's 100th anniversary.
On March 23 of this year, the Maskouski district court of Minsk sentenced coordinator of the European Belarus Yauhen Afnahel to 10 days of an administrative detention.
On March 21, the members of the organizing committee of the action Uladzimir Niakliaeu, Viachaslau Siuchyk andv Maxim Viniarski were also detained. Maxim Viniarski was sentenced on March 21 for 10 days of detention for the solidarity action with the website Charter97.org, blocked in Belarus.
Uladzimir Niakliaeu was sentenced to 10 days, will be released only on March 31. Siuchyk is also held in the Akrestsin Street detention center . Also, activist of the European Belarus Leanid Kulakou was convicted for the 10-day arrest for holding an action in support of Charter'97 on March 13.
