Government Puts 33 Enterprises On Sale

The purchase of a share in them is connected with "special conditions".

The State Property Committee of Belarus announced the stake of shares of which enterprises the state is ready to part in 2018, and on what terms. The list includes 33 enterprises.

The relevant information appeared on the website of the State Property Committee. And the number one on this list is JSC "Baranavichy Machine Tool Acsessories Plant".

The state owns a 76.6% stake in the Baranavichy Plant, with which it is ready to part by holding a competition. There are a number of conditions though.

First, the participant who wins the tender will be required to contribute at least $ 2 million to the statutory fund of the plant within six months from the date of concluding the sale contract. This money should be directed to the modernization and technical re-equipment of the enterprise.

Secondly, within two years from the date of making this contribution, the profitable work of the plant should be ensured, as well as the average salary not lower than the level of the Brest region.

The "Baranavichy Machine Tool Acsessories Plant" is one of the oldest industrial enterprises of the city, it was founded in 1946. The plant specializes in the production of equipment and consumer goods. The plant took the 14th place in the rating of industrial enterprises of the city following the results of 2017.
