About the catastrophe called "Lukashism"

The situation is critical in Belarus. It is not enough to say that we must act seriously. I very much hoped that the Russian Federation would help the Belarusian people, at least, stop this violence, terror, and scum that comes from Lukashenka and his (I cannot say otherwise) gang, the most real gangster group. People are now in a concentration camp, living in their own country in the 21st century. This is ugly. It is beyond good and evil. Madness and idiocy when a woman born in 1931 is being tried, who went to a protest march with our dear pensioners.

How long will this bastard continue? I want to ask, my dear representatives of the Investigative Committee, courts, where is your conscience? With Lukashenka, everything is clear, but where is your professional and human attitude? We now have COVID-19, but I have a feeling that it's some kind of bacillus, a virus, and already a catastrophe called Lukashism. Lukashism infects people's minds and consciousness, paralyzes them, and deprives them of their own thoughts and professional qualities.

On sanctions against Lukashenka

Russia and the European community should have stopped this aggression against the Belarusian people. We need concrete protection of the Belarusian people, and we need a tribunal, the arrest of criminals who continue to mock innocent people. Gangs and criminals are already coming into houses, knocking on the apartment, and they will invade apartments. The people are now trapped, even though an unambiguous partisan war has already begun in areas, courtyards where people unite, generate peaceful ideas in the form of flash mobs, solidarity actions to show that they have not stopped.

About two flags

Lukashenka does not understand that he is doing exactly the opposite with all his actions, starting with the white-red-white flag. He did everything to make this flag (and this is joyful) become a symbol of freedom, faith, and justice. He and his Lukashists did everything possible and impossible to make today's state red-green flag a symbol of aggression and lawlessness. It's all done by his hands. It self-destructs, and its entire system self-destructs. But so that a large number of civilians would not be tolerated.

About political prisoners and Ihar Losik's hunger strike

I am very worried about everyone. All who are now in prison are heroes. Today, every enlightened Belarusian who opposes terror, aggression, and violence can be sanctified. These are people who fight with their good hearts against evil and injustice. Now there is a terrible war between good and evil, dark and light forces. I want to support Ihar Losik and his family. I will definitely write him a letter, and I want to urge him to end the hunger strike. He must, first of all, think about how to get out of prison alive. It is impossible to prove anything to anyone in this situation. It is impossible to pay attention to your principles, to your human dignity, because there is no one to cast pearls for. There are non-humans, villains, and criminals left. You need to call a spade a spade. The people have woken up, the people are united, and this cannot be suppressed or stopped.

About the song "Nauzdahon" about the pursuit

I sang the song "Nauzdahon" back in 1991 when I was 21 years old. I was proud that the white-red-white flag was waving in Belarus; I was proud of the "Pahonia." The decline in spirituality took place in 1995, when, by the will of Lukashenka, our state symbols were removed. It was his will, and I know that for sure. And slowly, everything began to fall. We all slowly became hostages of circumstances and the situation. I was in a daze too. No one could even think that so much hatred, anger, and aggression is hidden in this person. When at one time I contacted Valodzia Niakliaeu, I was not yet aware. Back in the 1990s, he said, and not only to me: "You don't understand what Lukashenka is doing; he is committing a crime against the Belarusian people." And then I honestly did not understand what a crime - well, he doesn't speak very well, but he will practice it... Belarusians have always been admired in the world, in the post-Soviet space, and he turned the country into a collective farm.

About the pop scene and Anatol Yarmolenka

I see that people are now divided into two countries and two peoples. Bright, clean, and somehow embittered. Answering your question about the musicians who remained around Lukashenka (Saladukha, Lanskaya, sisters Gruzdzeva, Yarmolenka, Darafeyeva), I would exclude Anatol Yarmolenka from this list. I am very sorry that he stayed on the other side. This is a respected and talented person, whom I am love and who at one time was very good in relation to me. When I quit my job at Verasy, they took away all my songs. There was only one song left, not by Vasil Rainchyk, the song "Raz dy Razok," which I had the right to perform. And Rainchyk invited Anatol Yarmolenka to re-sing this song. He refused and supported me. In our (in a good way) stage, he is the only "bison" that people look up to. And, in my opinion, he had to become first of all to step forward and protect people with his authority. Many should have done so.

I understand the position of Lanskaya, Saladukha; they are with Lukashenka. Some of the musicians supported the people, the bright side, but I do not understand my colleagues' position, whom I valued and respected. It seemed to me that they, at least as a human being, at least neutrally, should have indicated their position and supported peace, goodness, justice, but, unfortunately, they were silent.

I communicate with representatives of the intelligentsia of Belarusian origin who live in Russia. Andrey Makarevich, Dakota spoke out... Many outstanding actors spoke out, Lolita Milyavskaya spoke harshly about "Lukashism."

About the 100-meter national flag

I have prepared a gift for the entire Belarusian people - a giant white-red-white flag, 4.5 meters by 100 meters. Now I am waiting for a situation when I can take action in support of the Belarusian people. Maybe, finally, this hundred-meter flag will stop this madness and idiocy, which is happening in Belarus and destroying everything white and red.

I was convinced that the world community would stop this repressive machine, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin would stop it. In my opinion, today, the only authority for Lukashenka is Putin. I really hope for him. In my opinion, there can be no danger from this for Belarus because now the only danger for Belarus is Lukashenka. I have more confidence in Russia. Despite how democratic and friendly the European Union and the entire world community were to the situation in Belarus, I do not see any serious, cardinal actions from the United States, the EU, and the whole world to protect political prisoners and the entire Belarusian people.

About a bold act

I believe, I hope, I love. I really believe in Belarusians; I hope that the forces of light will win, that the warriors of light will defeat this evil. I am powerless now. I don't know how to help people, but I try very hard - with my energy, my attitude, my fearlessness, in the end. Now we have to stick to each other, support those behind bars. If there is a critical situation (I know myself), I am ready for the most daring actions and decisions. I think them through. I have many points of help and support. In an extreme situation, when the problem will be particularly acute, I will no longer care about what will happen to me and what my future will be. I will always be with my Belarusian people.
