Strike For Everyone

Strike For Everyone

Here's how to help future strikers.

A strike is a very effective method of exerting pressure on the authorities.

The strength of the strike directly depends on its scope and duration. That is why everyone should begin to prepare for the strike already now. Even if you are not able to take direct part in the strike for objective reasons (because you are retired or you are abroad), there are a number of ways to help the strikers, says the Basta telegram channel.

First, it is important to disseminate information about the forthcoming strike as widely as possible. The heads of enterprises and the audience of the protest telegram channels already know about it, so there is not much point in forest photos with posters. So help someone who is far from uncensored internet know how to get involved in the strike. Tell them why it's important by posting a leaflet on a bus stop, remind them of its inevitability by spraying graffiti near the factory entrance, you can even hand out leaflets to factory workers or put them in mailboxes. And don't forget to bring up the idea of a strike by chance in your workplace, so that the word "strike" becomes a buzz word.

Secondly, prepare a strike support package. It is desirable that it is not only planned for your family, but also for the family of at least one of your colleagues. It is better to stock up with canned food right away, stores and banks may not work. The recommended period to plan for is at least two weeks. The longer - the better.

Third, you can help workers find an excuse to cancel work on the day the strike starts (which will certainly be the toughest day). Broken traffic lights, spike strips at the gates of the work vehicle garages, copper wire on the rails, traffic jams made of cars with their emergency lights on at gas stations and bridges. Think of all the experience of the protesters.

The fourth option is aimed precisely at the entire collective. You can arrange an equipment malfunction at work, you can disrupt the pace of work by super-slow or super-fast work, you can imitate a breakdown or arrange a "paper collapse" by giving meaningless tasks, babelizing the reporting, to misinform your colleagues (for example, to say that the boss has given them the days off or is sick).

Which way you choose for yourself is up to you. But remember, you need to prepare for all of this in advance. And the best time to start is right now.
