Belarusian Authorities Decided To Seal All Trucks From Poland

And doubled the cost of the seals.

The so-called "government" has adopted a regulation, according to which all goods, imported by trucks from the territory of Poland to Belarus, must be equipped with satellite navigation seals. The relevant document was published on the National Legal Internet Portal on July 7.

Earlier, the seals were mandatory when entering from the territory of Lithuania. Now the seals must also be used when transporting goods from the territory of Poland.

This will not apply to goods in transit through Lithuania from Kaliningrad to Russia, as well as heavy and (or) oversized vehicles, the passage of which requires a special permit.

In addition, the government has doubled the fee for installing and tracking the seal - the cost of the seal will be 10 basic units (290 rubles). Earlier it was 5 basic units (Br145).

The resolution comes into force after its official publication - that is, on December 8.

We remind that earlier the government of Belarus adopted a resolution, according to which all goods, imported by road from the territory of Lithuania to Belarus, must be equipped with satellite navigation seals from August 30. This has caused dissatisfaction among the Lithuanian carriers.

The navigation device (seal) is a device that operates using the technology of satellite navigation systems, which allows real-time monitoring of the movement of the vehicle.

Seals are installed by customs authorities or the national operator (Belnautahaz). They are installed at checkpoints when entering Belarus.
