"Doctors Will Find a Job, But They Will Treat Not Belarusian Children, But Polish, Lithuanian, German"

The Belarusians are outraged by Lukashenka's attitude towards doctors.

- On May 1, we met with a friend, walked around the city. We agreed that we didn't have a festive mood. We used to take many things easier. Now, even peeling paint on the amusement rides in the city park is irritating. Our people have unhappy faces, looking a bit detached. It makes us feel worse. Though, there are happy people. They are either teenagers or very young parents, or those who have already relaxed.

Daily news on the Internet is also frustrating. I wish it would finally come to an end. After all, I want to live in a normal country where one can plan the future, and not like this.

The attitude of the current government toward doctors is annoying. Many of them were fired after the events of August. In my opinion, professionals should not be fired. Who will treat us then? We do not have many professionals one can turn to and trust. I have recently read about another dismissal of a Minsk resuscitation doctor. Why? The doctor will find a job. He or she will not treat Belarusian children, but Polish, Lithuanian, German ones. It's sad.
