Ukraine Detained Large Batch Of Smuggled Cigarettes From Belarus

The cargo was carried in two trucks.

Ukraine has detained a batch of contraband cigarettes made in Belarus, which were transported by truck through Poland, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

The border guards had information that cigarettes would be smuggled through the "Yagodin" checkpoint in two trucks. On June 14, one of the trucks entered Ukraine and drove the cargo to a warehouse in Lutsk. Instead of ceramic tiles, as stated in the documents, the operatives found boxes of cigarettes in it.
