Lukashenka Instructs To Check All Those Liable For Military Service

Checks will begin “after the end of the harvesting campaign”.

Belarusian dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka said that the country would “learn lessons” from the mobilization in Russia for the war against Ukraine and added that “at the end of the harvest, people should be carefully called up and everything should be clarified at the military registration and enlistment offices.” He is quoted by the BelTA agency serving the regime.

He assured that “we do not need to announce mobilization”, but “when Russia announced mobilization, we have seen the flaws they have”.

An ally of the Russian occupiers said: “This is a lesson for us: it is necessary to do it in every district without any hubbub, without noise — what I instructed you to do ... The harvesting campaign will end, we need to carefully call people in the area, look at their presence and clarify all our materials, lists and documents in the military registration and enlistment offices”.

Lukashenka added that when mobilization was carried out in Russia, “many of them forgot how weapons look like”.
