Russia Launched Missiles Against Ukraine From Belarus For The First Time Since August

Russia attacked the Khmelnytsky region with Kh-22 missiles.

On the morning of October 6, Russian aircraft launched a missile attack on Ukraine from the territory of Belarus. Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hromov and Speaker of the Air Force Yuriy Ihnat made the statement:

"This morning, four Tu-22 M3 aircraft of the strategic aviation of the aggressor country entered from the airspace of Belarus and launched airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine.

The previous aircraft attacks from this axis were registered on 28 August.

As the speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, clarified, this was an attack on the Khmelnytsky region, the enemy used Kh-22 missiles.

On the morning of October 6, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the territory of the Shepetivka district of the Khmelnytsky region during the air raid. One of the two missiles fell near an infrastructure facility. Another fell into a wasteland.
