The Armed Forces of Ukraine have named the most probable causes of the incident at the airfield near Ryazan in the Russian Federation, as a result of which there were dead and injured, and military aircraft were damaged. The Armed Forces of Ukraine made a statement on Facebook.
“The most likely cause of the incident is the low level of training, careless attitude to their duties and neglect of security measures on the part of the technical personnel of the Russian Aerospace Forces,” the statement reads.
Charter97.org reported that Ukrainian drones had been attacking air bases in Russia for two days in a row. In Kursk, an oil storage tank caught fire after a drone attack. After drone strikes on airfields in Engels and Ryazan, three Russian aircraft were damaged.
