The agreement is currently undergoing domestic procedures.
Sanctioned goods and high-risk goods will be transported under control across the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, including Belarus. Navigation seals will be used to perform transportation.
Maksat Mamytkanov, Member of the Board (Minister) for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, made an announcement, BelTA informs.
Mamytkanov recalled that the heads of the EAEU states signed the agreement on the use of navigation seals in December 2021. "The mechanism for the use of navigation seals should ensure the minimization of control procedures and increase the speed of the passage of goods," he stressed.
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) will determine and adopt a specific list of goods, the movement of which will be accompanied by navigation seals. Maksat Mamytkanov clarified that, first of all, this will affect the so-called high-risk goods, as well as sanctioned goods.
According to the EEC Minister, the agreement is currently undergoing domestic procedures. The EEC must adopt all the regulations necessary for the application of the agreement within 180 days after the procedures.
