Trains From Adler Bypass The Section Of The Belarus-Russia Border Near Gomel

The unusual situation is attributed to "technical reasons."

Trains between Adler and Minsk and Minsk and Adler on October 11 are bypassing the section of the border with Russia near Gomel. They will be routed through Smolensk and Orsha. The Belarusian Railways announced the changes to the route and schedule.

The unusual situation is attributed to “technical reasons.”

Train No. 301, which departed from Adler on October 9, will bypass Gomel Station and instead pass through Bryansk, Smolensk, and Orsha-Central stations—and continue on to Minsk. An additional train has been scheduled for passengers who planned to disembark in Gomel or at stations along the Gomel–Minsk route. The same applies to those who planned to travel by train from Gomel to Minsk via Adler.

On October 11, Train No. 302 (Minsk–Adler) will run according to the regular schedule as far as Gomel Station, and then follow a modified route via Mogilev, Orsha, Smolensk, and Bryansk. It will then return to its regular route.
