Satellite images testify to this.
Russian air defence is working again in occupied Crimea. Residents of Alupka reported explosions and outbreaks in the sea.
People write about it in the local publics.
According to military expert Oleh Zhdanov, the Black Sea Fleet may have been hit.
“Since Russia is silent, apparently, it was not visible from the shore. The distance could be rather great. The explosion rises high and you can see it. And what kind of watercraft was there - a vessel or a ship," he said on FREEDOM UA.
He added that Ukraine now has access to satellite imagery: “If they manage to capture this place in a picture, then today or tomorrow we will see what it was.”
Zhdanov is confident that Russia will try to divert Ukrainian forces from the peninsula after a series of explosions in Crimea.
“I think that they will strengthen (the group in Crimea - Ed.). By the way, activity in the Kharkiv axis can be a deceptive manoeuvre for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For us to be engaged in this axis,” he added.
The expert noted that the enemy currently does not have the strength to break through the Kharkiv defence.
“They will try to distract us from Crimea by any means,” he said.
