Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC refuse to fight in Ukraine. They got scared of the AFU's successes in the counterattack in the Kharkiv Oblast.

It was reported on Twitter by the American journalist Jack Detch on Monday, September 19, referring to the words of a high-ranking official of the U.S. Department of Defence.

According to him, Wagner is trying to send 1,500 convicted criminals to war in Ukraine, but many are resisting.

"Ukraine's successful offensive to recapture much of the Kharkiv region has inspired many Russian volunteers to refuse to fight," Detch quoted the Pentagon official.
