Politico Named Most Influential Person In Europe

Zelensky was put on a par with Churchill and Mandela.

The American publication Politico named former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk as the most influential person in Europe, who has a great chance of heading his country’s government again in the near future.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is Dreamer No. 1, according to the publication.

“Winston Churchill. Martin Luther King Jr. Nelson Mandela. Every once in a while, a leader comes along and single-handedly changes the course of history, not through the might of their army or the strength of their economy, but through the power of their words. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is such a leader,” the article reads.

Politico writes that Zelensky's leadership has been so effective that he has been able to achieve what would have been unthinkable just recently. In particular, we are talking about Ukraine's approach to membership in the EU and joining NATO.

His rhetorical efforts have also borne important fruit in the form of financial aid and significant quantities of Western weapons – from tanks to fighter jets – provided by Ukraine's partners.

At the same time, the publication believes that 2024 will be difficult for Zelensky. There are several reasons for this: the world is distracted by the war in the Middle East, Ukrainians are tired of fighting the occupiers and the struggle to regain their territory, and EU politicians are beginning to fear a negative impact on their profits and the EU budget due to the situation on the agricultural market.

Journalists of the publication recognized the head of the Italian government Giorgia Meloni as Doer No. 1.

The head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina was called Disrupter No. 1. The publication called the head of the Central Bank the “Putin’s banker”.
