Warsaw reacts harshly to the sentence of Andrei Pachobut.

Polish media RMF FM reports that the closure of the Babrouniki border crossing is a reaction to the unlawful sentence of Andrei Pachobut, a journalist and one of the leaders of the Union of Poles in Belarus, who was sentenced by the regime to eight years in a high-security colony.

"The closing of the crossing is a response to yesterday's verdict of the Aliaksandr Lukashenka regime in the case of Andrei Pachobut and the Minsk repression against the Polish minority," the media resource writes.

The news publisher writes that Warsaw is sending a harsh signal to Minsk that the regime can be completely cut off from the West. The same decisions regarding other border crossings are not ruled out: Terespol (Brest from the Belarusian side) and Kukuryki (Kazlovichy from the Belarusian side).
