Russia Drops Another A-bomb On Belgorod Region

An FAB-500 was found near one of the region's villages.

Russia claims a kamikaze drone attack in the Belgorod region on 24 May. Russian border guards allegedly shot down all the drones with small arms or with the use of electronic warfare means.

Meanwhile, Russia again lost an aerial bomb 23 kilometres from the border with Ukraine. An FAB-500 was found the night before near one of the region's villages. A popular Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 subscribers writes about it, obozrevatel.com reports.

The channel's version is that combat drones allegedly "attacked the Belgorod region en masse" the day before. Propagandists assure that all of them were shot down by Russian border guards, but they cannot count how many UAVs were involved in the attack. According to the channel's version, "at least six combat drones" were destroyed over the Belgorod region.

"According to our information, the main influx of 'angry birds' took place around 12:00. At once, three kamikazes struck the village of Starolesye in the Krasnoyaruzh district (1.1 km from the border). At the same time, two more UAVs attempted to attack the neighboring village of Vyazovoye (400 m to the border). All the drones failed: the border guards shot them down. In some cases, small arms were used. A similar situation occurred around 3pm near the village of Sereda, Shebekin district. There, a kamikaze was destroyed in a similar way 450 meters from the border," propagandists said.

They assure there were no casualties or destructions.

The propagandists also showed a photo allegedly one of the landed drones. They assure itwas later destroyed.

However, if the drones did not cause any damage, the Russians tried to "help them" - and again lost an aerial bomb in the Belgorod region.

Another report by the same channel reports that a Russian FAB-500 was found near the village of Kalinino, Yakovlev district, Belgorod region (23 kilometres from the border).

"According to our information, it happened the day before around 8pm. The area is now cordoned off. There are no casualties or damage. They are waiting for bomb technicians", propagandists said.
