Lukashists Detain History Teacher For 'Pahonia' Avatar

She was "turned in" by a parent.

Lukaschists have detained a history teacher of a secondary school. The reason was a telegram-chat, created by her, the avatar of which had Pahonia on it. The video with the girl appeared in a telegram channel close to the law enforcers.

"I am a secondary school history teacher. I created a chat room with a picture with protest symbols on the avatar and with students of the 10th and 11th grades. I also participated in rallies," she says in the video.

According to a comment to the video, some students told their parents about the telegram channel set up by the teacher. And they complained to the police about the teacher. It's not reported in which city and in which school the girl worked and what she faces.

We remind that the coat of arms of "Pahonia" has existed in the territory of Belarus since the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. After gaining independence in 1991 it became the official symbol of our state. In 2012 it was officially included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
