Russian Defence Ministry Panic Over Drone Attack On Black Sea Fleet

The drones caused a stir north-west of occupied Crimea.

A statement provided by the Russian Defence Ministry claims that according to their data, two "Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles" were allegedly detected and neutralised with the help of REB (radio-electronic warfare) equipment on 21 August, Crimean Wind reports.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation in Telegram. Drones allegedly flew over the waters of the Black Sea.

"Two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were detected and suppressed by means of electronic warfare by the regular air defence forces," the message reads.

Also, according to the report from the Russian Defence Ministry, it is claimed that the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which lost control, crashed in the waters of the Black Sea, located about 40 kilometres northwest of the occupied Crimean peninsula.
