AFU Get Unique Missile Able To Choose Targets

The condition under which it will reach the Kremlin has been named.

Ukraine's Neptun missiles loudly made themselves known after they sank the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the Moskva cruiser. However, they could become an even bigger horror for Russia.

Military expert, flight instructor and colonel of the AFU in reserve Roman Svitan noted in an interview for "Channel 24" that this is a unique missile, which can choose its own targets.

What the Neptune Missile is Capable of Doing

The reserve colonel noted that Ukraine first used the Neptune missile against the Russian Admiral Essen frigate, which was damaged at the time.

According to him, Ukrainian specialists have now improved the homing head, which works not only against ships, but also against ground targets. In addition, innovative technologies at the level of artificial intelligence have been applied there.

"The missile itself selects the target, depending on the mission," Svitan said.

Thus, he noted, it is a unique missile that can choose its own targets. It is only necessary to add range to it. Now it flies somewhere up to 300 kilometres, there is a possibility to increase it to 500 kilometres. Then it will be able to reach the Kremlin.

He believes that Vice-Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa's account of various previously completed tasks indicates that in the near future the Black Sea Fleet will be hit quite seriously. This is the main task of the Ukrainian AFU Navy, of which he is the commander.
