‘Belarusians, We Must Not Be Silent’: Action In Memory Of Ihar Lednik To Be Held In Warsaw

An action in memory of political prisoner Ihar Lednik is to be held at 18.30 pm today, on February 20, at the Belarusian Embassy (ul. Wiertnicza 58) in Warsaw. Leader of the Razam solidarity movement Viachaslau Siuchyk reported this on Facebook:

“People, we must not remain silent when terrorists kill Belarusians! The Lukashist-Putin gang committed another crime. Another political prisoner, Ihar Lednik, was killed in prison.

Ihar was a very sincere person, a real human rights activist, and a well-known figure in the Belarusian opposition. Bright be memory!

We protest against the fact that Belarusians are being killed. We protest against torture and murder in prisons. Let’s come to the representative office of Lukashenka’s illegal government in Warsaw and bring portraits of murdered political prisoners.”
