Ukrainian Partisans Disable Russian Air Defence In Smolensk

Military facilities of the Moscow Military District were left without cover.

Partisans carried out sabotage work in one of the settlements of Smolensk in Russia. There they destroyed the telecommunication cabinet of a communication tower.

This is reported by the ATESH partisan movement.

According to the partisans, communication was destroyed in the settlement of Stanichki near Smolensk.

As a result of the equipment damage, the communication systems of the Russian air defence system of the 49th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, located on this tower, ceased to operate.

As a result of the partisans' activities in the region, the stability of the military control system may be disrupted. In addition, the loss of communications there will weaken the air defence system. This will make it possible to strike military facilities of the Moscow Military District more effectively.

"We expect some unknown UAVs in the region," the partisans wrote.
