Scholz Speaks About Russian Losses: That Will Surprise Many

The occupiers pay a high price.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the aggressor country Russia is losing 24,000 soldiers killed and wounded in Ukraine every month.

Scholz said this during a speech on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the German Constitution, reports n-tv.

"There is a figure that says about 24,000 dead or seriously wounded Russian soldiers every month. Everything for the imperialist megalomania of the Russian dictator [Vladimir Putin — Ed.]," said the German Chancellor.

Scholz also noted that the Russian dictator is responsible for the deaths of many civilians and the Ukrainian military.

It should be noted that earlier Western leaders did not name such large numbers of losses of Russians.

On May 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian troops have already lost more than 500,000 of their soldiers killed and wounded in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. The figure from the German Chancellor roughly coincides with the Ukrainian statistics.
