Occupied Crimea experienced a massive drone attack on the night of June 21. Russian air defence shot down 70 UAVs over the territory of the peninsula. This was reported in the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

"During the past night, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using uncrewed boats and aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled. Air defence on duty intercepted and destroyed 70 UAVs over the territory of the Republic of Crimea and the Black Sea, 43 UAVs over the territory of Krasnodar region and one UAV over the territory of Volgograd region," the report said.

It is noted that in the north-western part of the Black Sea, Russian naval aviation destroyed 6 uncrewed boats of the Ukrainian Navy.

In the morning, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev reported on the attack of UAVs near Sevastopol.

"The military are repelling an enemy UAV attack. According to preliminary information, 4 drones have already been shot down.
