National Guard Shoots Down Russian Su-25 With 'Igla' In Donetsk Region

Fighters of the Ukrainian National Guard have destroyed an enemy Su-25 attack plane. This happened in Donetsk region.

This is reported by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine.

"Guardsmen found an enemy Su-25, also known as "Grach", making a combat sortie," stated the message.

The combined crew of the portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS) "Igla" of the 31st brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine acted promptly and professionally.

"The Su-25 attack aircraft was downed with an accurate shot," the military stated.
