Ukrainian Forces Completely Destroyed 2nd Russia’s Army Battalion Near Avdiivka

Only four survived out of 350 soldiers.

Soldiers from the 2nd Motorized Rifle Battalion of the Russian Armed Forces recorded a video message asking for help. They claim that in the battles near Avdiivka, their battalion was completely defeated.

The video was published on June 30 by the Airborne Forces for Honesty and Justice, a Russian Z-channel, Dialog.UA reports.

The occupiers claim that the command deliberately misled them by sending them to storm the positions. They were promised that the area had been cleared of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but the assaulters were met with severe fire

“About 350 of us came in, only 4 came out so far. We don’t know about the rest. There are several people wounded, whom we loaded and sent... We fell under 155 shells, under clasters. Only a few people reached a certain point. Everyone [the rest - Ed.] remained in the landing area. We were told that there was no one there, that there were no Ukrainians there. In the end, it turned out that there was a village full of them. We were simply deceived! We were simply sent to as “meat”. We entered, they simply surrounded us and completely defeated us, all of us... There are a lot of soldiers lying and dying around there [dead actually - Ed.]. They lie there for six months. They are not evacuated at all! And the wounded lie there without legs for weeks,” the Russian military reported.

They claim that the commanders have registered them as deserters and intend to send them back to the assault to finish them off.

“They want to send us back. We have no munitions. Heavy artillery fire is covering us. No support, nothing. We are simply going there to be slaughtered... We were simply recorded as 500th [deserters - Ed.], because we retreated without command. Now we are simply being sent to slaughter, they will wipe us out,” the occupiers said.

They claim that the commanders ordered them to advance through the area, which was targeted by the Ukrainians and received the very eloquent name “the road to hell” in the Russian Armed Forces.
