Two Schoolboys Burn Mi-8 In Russia: Only Tail Left From Helicopter

The father of one of them is fighting against Ukraine.

On the night of September 11, two schoolboys, aged 13 and 14, burned down a multi-purpose Mi-8 helicopter in the Russian town of Noyabrsk. They were promised 5 million roubles for this ‘task’.

This is reported by the BAZA Telegram channel.

The schoolchildren entered the territory of the helipad at the airport in Noyabrsk through a hole in the fence. After that they doused the helicopter with flammable liquid and set it on fire with cigarettes at the second attempt. One of the boys received severe burns on his face as a result of the liquid explosion.

After escaping from the aerodrome - both were caught within an hour.

‘In the end, the guys received severe face burns, so after running away a little from the airport, the schoolboys had to call an ambulance. The medics took the arsonists to hospital. The helicopter was burnt almost completely - only the tail was left of it,’ the channel writes.
