Russians Fussing Around Crimean Bridge

Additional air defense systems are urgently being deployed.

Russia has resumed traffic on the Crimean Bridge, but is afraid of another powerful strike on it, so it is deploying additional air defense systems there. This was stated on the air of the FREEDOM channel by the former deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian Navy Andriy Ryzhenko.

He explained that the Russian Federation is now actively using the Crimean Bridge to transfer weapons to the occupied territories towards the front.

“Currently, the total amount of cargo that is transported across the bridge to the Crimea is estimated at 25%. The rest is transported through the Priazovsky Isthmus, where a railway is being built, and so on,” Ryzhenko noted.

It is very important for Ukraine to destroy this logistics chain though.

According to him, the enemy feels that the Ukrainian Armed Forces can launch a powerful strike on the bridge, and is thus actively transferring additional air defense forces to the Kerch Bridge.

Andriy Ryzhenko also stated that the Russians have built defensive structures on the water to prevent attacks by sea drones.

“The enemy is very afraid of the destruction of the Kerch Bridge. And their fears are justified,” Ryzhenko emphasized.
