Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Tuesday he had spoken to MOL executives and the interior minister about the fire.
"Hungary's fuel supply has been secured," Orban wrote on social media, adding that the circumstances of the fire were being investigated "as thoroughly as possible."

The Sazhalombatti refinery, Hungary's only major oil refinery, processes mostly oil from Russia.
Hungarian authorities said air quality around the refinery is constantly monitored and no readings exceeding the norms have been detected.
Witnesses told state news agency MTI that flames and smoke could be seen several kilometers away.
