The AFU managed to turn the situation around.
The latest analysis published by frontline expert Tatarigami_UA shows: the situation inside the Russian army and command is rapidly deteriorating. Large-scale drone strikes behind Russian territory have not only caused direct casualties, but have also demoralized top officers.
A growing number of Russian military officers admit: the war has reached a strategic deadlock, and it is held together only by Putin's personal stubbornness, the analytical report says.
1. Ukrainian strikes have turned the perception of the war
According to the analyst, Ukraine's long-term campaign of drone strikes deep inside Russia has produced notable results.
It is not only about destroyed infrastructure, but also about a shift in the perception of the war itself within the Russian command: even officers now recognize that the "cost" of the war no longer corresponds to its results.
2. There is a growing sense of stalemate in the Kremlin
Tatarigami estimates that in the private communications of dozens of senior officers, including those in Moscow, the message is increasingly heard: the war is in a stalemate, and its continuation is due only to Putin's personal ambitions. This does not mean the imminent collapse of the regime, but it captures a change of mood even in loyal sectors of society and the army.
3. Russia survives at the expense of China
Moscow is increasing defense production, but is almost entirely dependent on Chinese technology, especially in the production of drones and autonomous systems. Without Chinese support, the analyst emphasizes, Russia would not be able to maintain its current level of combat operations.
4. Losses are huge, morale low
Despite official claims of a "stable situation," the Russian army is a disaster with losses and discipline inside.
According to the analysis, the level of dead (KIA), missing in action (MIA) and desertion remains extremely high. The number of wounded, on the contrary, is declining due to poor evacuation: many simply do not make it to hospitals.
5. AFU: difficult but controlled situation
Ukrainian defense is experiencing difficulties in certain areas, especially in Pokrovsk and Kupyansk, where the enemy is trying to exploit the shortage of personnel. At the same time, the analyst stresses: the problem is not in mobilization, but in the low level of return of military personnel who left the units: in Ukraine, the system of coercion is not as rigid as in Russia.
6. What happens next
Russia is expected to try to resume offensive operations in the south in the fall, and to turn to ground assaults in the winter due to worsening weather conditions and reduced drone effectiveness. However, the quality of training for the new units remains extremely low - about 70% manning with minimal training.
According to Tatarigami_UA, Russia has found itself in a situation where war has become expensive, pointless and demoralizing even for its perpetrators. Ukrainian strikes and economic pressure are gradually eroding confidence in victory even among the military, and dependence on China is turning Russia from an "empire" into a dependent vassal.
