The Russian economy is experiencing "dramatic" difficulties.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zielenski told him that Ukraine is ready to go to war with Russia for two to three more years.
Tusk said this in his interview with the British publication Sunday Times.
Ukraine will retain independence, but the main question is at what cost and how many more victims there will be.
"President Zielenski told me that he hopes the war will not last ten years, but Ukraine is ready to fight for another two or three years," Tusk said.
The Polish prime minister said the Russian economy is experiencing "dramatic" difficulties, which have been exacerbated by new sanctions imposed by the United States, and "has no chance to survive" in the long term. At the same time, Tusk expressed doubts about how "stable" US President Donald Trump's sanctions approach to Moscow would be.
