Russia Claims Mass Raid By Ukrainian Drones

Many of them were flying to Moscow.

Russia's Defense Ministry says the country's air defense "destroyed" 193 Ukrainian drones on the night of Monday, October 27, with 40 of them over the Moscow region.

The Kremlin agency's summary says it "intercepted" 34 UAVs "flying toward Moscow."

The most drones (47) were allegedly shot down by the Russian air defense forces over the Bryansk region, 42 over the Kaluga region, 32 over the Tula region, and 10 over the Kursk region. In addition, drones were recorded in eight other regions of Russia.

The Russian Defense Ministry traditionally does not specify how many UAVs reached their targets.

As Charter97.org wrote, Moscow was massively attacked by drones. Near the Kremlin, soldiers with a machine gun mounted on a pickup truck were spotted.
