SBU Long-range Drones Hit One Of Russia's Leading Oil Refineries

We've traveled 1,400 kilometers.

Today, October 3, long-range drones of the SBU hit one of the leading Russian oil refineries. We are talking about Orsknefteorgsintez, which is located 1,400 kilometers from Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing sources.

According to the source, the SBU's CSO "A" long-range attack drones once again hit a target at a distance of 1,400 kilometers - this time in the locality of Orsk.

"Cotton" was burning at the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Russia's Orenburg region. This refinery has four units of primary oil processing, its capacity is 6.6 million tons of oil per year.

The source explained that the refinery produces about 30 types of various products: motor gasoline, diesel fuel, oils, jet fuel, bitumen, fuel oil.

The video shows columns of black smoke rising above the refinery after the drones of the SSU's CSO "A" over the refinery. The refinery has announced an evacuation, and local authorities in Orsk urged not to panic.

"The SBU continues to cause serious damage to the Russian economy by targeting the facilities of the Russian oil and gas industry. The decrease in petrodollar revenues to the budget directly affects the aggressor's ability to continue the war against Ukraine," the report says.

The source said that almost 40% of the capacity of Russian refineries is already idle. We will work in the future to increase this figure.

We will recall that in the summer of 2025 Ukraine resumed strikes on Russian refineries and oil pipelines. The coordinated work of the SBU and SDF forces, as well as the GSD and SBS, cumulatively knocked out about 20 percent of oil refining in Russia, leading to a fuel crisis and logistical problems.
