After the Belarusian authorities effectively banned crossing the state border for vehicles with Lithuanian license plates, the State Customs Committee reported how many of them are now in Belarus.
"Almost 5 thousand units of Lithuanian tractors and trailers were blocked in Belarus, which will be able to leave the country only after the opening of the border by the Lithuanian authorities," said the SCC.
According to the decree, signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, trucks, tractors and trailers (semi-trailers) with Lithuanian registration are allowed to cross the state border only on the Belarusian-Lithuanian section, which is now closed.
