Three districts of Russia's Kursk region were left without electricity after a drone attack on substations. This is reported by the governor of the region Alexander Khinshtein.
"The attack left more than 16,000 people without electricity in Glushkovsky, Rylsk and Korenevsky districts. Rylsk has already been connected to backup sources. Consequences are being clarified, in the near future an engineering survey of the territories will be conducted," Khinstein wrote in Telegram.
According to the calculations of "Novaya Gazeta Europe" in January-October 2025, there were 4189 cases of power outages at Russian energy facilities for various reasons. The cause of every tenth accident, the publication noted, was Ukrainian drone strikes.
