In total, about $4 million dollars was swindled from her.
Famous Russian Z-singer Larisa Dolina told in court on November 19 details of how she became a victim of a large fraud scheme. She arrived at the court accompanied by special forces because she had received threats earlier, Kommersant reports.
The singer said that fraudsters posing as FSB and Rosfinmonitoring officers convinced her that "criminals" were after her money and real estate. They misled her into transferring all her savings to "safe accounts", borrowing additional sums and even selling her apartment. Dolina was sure that this was part of a "special operation" under the control of the special services, and did not tell even loved ones about it - the fraudsters forbade.
The money from the sale of the apartment she gave to the attackers - part in cash, part through bank transfers. She transferred significant sums to Anzhela Tsyrulnikova - one of the accused - personally and through an assistant, using pre-agreed "passwords".
The investigation found that the fraudulent group had prepared in advance: found people to issue cards, cash out and create cryptocurrency wallets, where the money went.
As a result, Dolina lost 175 million rubles (about $2.16 million) and an apartment worth 138 million rubles (about $1.7 million), which was later returned to her through the court.
After the hearing, the singer did not talk to journalists and left the building through the service entrance.
Dolina, a member of the United Russia party, had previously supported the war with Ukraine, for which she found herself under sanctions from Kiev.
