Ukraine Confirms Return Of Its Citizens Released In Belarus

The youngest released was 18 years old, the oldest was 58.
November 22, citizens of Ukraine, pardoned by Alexander Lukashenko, returned to Ukraine from Belarus. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters of Ukraine.
"As a result of successful negotiations with the Belarusian side, conducted by the Coordination Headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war on behalf of the President of Ukraine, it was possible to return to Ukraine 31 citizens, who were held in Belarus," the headquarters reported.
Women and men, detained in Belarus and sentenced to various terms of imprisonment - from 2 to 11 years, were returned to Ukraine. The age of the youngest released Ukrainian woman is 18 years old, the oldest is 58 years old.
The released civilians include patients with serious diseases, in particular cancer.
"We express our gratitude to the United States and President Donald Trump for the fruitful work on the return of civilian and military Ukrainians from the territory of Belarus and the Russian Federation. We also thank all government agencies involved for their assistance and joint work. The released Ukrainians will receive all the necessary medical care and rehabilitation," reported in the headquarters.
