He started blaming both Ukraine and Europe.

U.S. President Donald Trump accused Ukrainian authorities of "lack of gratitude" for U.S. peace efforts.

"Ukraine's leadership has expressed no gratitude for our efforts," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He also criticized Europe for "continuing to buy oil from Russia."

"I inherited a war that should never have happened, a war that is a loss for everyone, especially the millions of people who have died so senselessly," Trump's memo said.

Russian oil is now purchased by two EU countries, Hungary and Slovakia. On November 21, Trump exempted them from sanctions for purchases.

It should be noted that on November 23, negotiations between delegations of the United States, Ukraine and Europe are taking place in Geneva.
