Ukraine And U.S. Prepare Updated Draft Peace Agreement

The parties agreed to continue working on joint proposals in coordination with Europe.
Following the talks in Geneva on November 23, Ukraine and the USA prepared an updated and finalized draft peace agreement. This is stated in a joint statement published on the websites of the Ukrainian president and the White House.
On November 23, representatives of the United States and Ukraine discussed the American peace proposal in Geneva.
"The talks were constructive, substantive and respectful, underscoring a shared commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace. Both sides agreed on the high productivity of the consultations," the statement reads.
After the talks, the sides prepared "an updated and finalized draft peace agreement."
"The Ukrainian delegation once again expressed gratitude to the United States and, in particular, to President Donald J. Trump personally for his unwavering dedication and tireless efforts to end the war and save human lives," the document says.
The parties agreed to continue "intensive work on joint proposals" in the coming days, and close contact with European partners will also be maintained.
Final decisions on the draft peace agreement will be made by the presidents of Ukraine and the United States.
It should be noted that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that after "the most productive and meaningful" negotiations with the Ukrainian side, changes are being made to the peace plan. According to him, there is already a "high-quality document" formed on the basis of proposals from all key participants in the process.
Rubio also emphasized that any plan must be approved by Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky, and then Russia must present its position.
