Yermak Confirmed That His Home Is Being Searched

Western journalists say they are linked to corruption.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, confirmed that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office "are indeed conducting procedural actions" at his home on November 28.

"The investigators have no obstacles. They were given full access to the apartment, my lawyers are on the spot, who interact with law enforcement officers. From my side - full cooperation", - emphasized Yermak in a statement in his Telegram-channel.

The NABU earlier confirmed the searches at Yermak. They promised to provide details later and said that the investigative actions were authorized and carried out "as part of an investigation" - without specifying which one.

According to Financial Times journalist Christopher Miller, the searches at Yermak's place are being carried out in the Midas case - a large-scale investigation into possible corruption schemes in Ukraine's energy sector.
