"This is probably the question I have been asked most often over the past 5 years from everyone. From all the people who were next to me in the neighboring seats in the cells, to those who were investigating me. And even after 5 years, I never stop being asked this question, and you ask me it too.

No, I don't regret anything. I believe that there are times when we are faced with such questions, difficult questions, and we have to make difficult choices.

This difficult choice I made very easily, because I was and I remain convinced that I supported the right idea, I supported my values, which are expressed by Viktor Dmitrievich and Eduard Babariko, his son.

I am not alone, there are many of us. And even now, having gone through very great trials and very great suffering, which for me partially ended, but for many people they are still continuing, I always remember this...

I still believe that in such critical moments: if you can, then you must. And that's probably the answer to your question," Kolesnikova said.
